February on O‘ahu is mild, with temperatures averaging 70–80°F (21–27°C). It may be windy or rainy, so pack a light rain jacket or umbrella. Please bear this in mind as we will be participating in outdoor activities.

Limited bus transportation will be provided between the conference site and designated hotels. Specific schedules will be available in the digital program.

Adult chaperones are responsible for ensuring all attendees from their schools are accounted for, but conference staff will be onsite to assist as needed.

We suggest packing the following for your comfort during the conference:

For Outdoor Activities - ʻĀina Clothes (Portion of Day 1):

Clothing you don’t mind getting dirty, such as:

  • surf shorts or quick-dry pants/shirts

    1. long-sleeve shirts for working

    2. closed-toe shoes for safety

    3. hat for sun protection

  • extra clothes, slippers, or Crocs to into changing after outdoor activities

  • toiletries /towel for shower (showers available)

For General Activities:

  • comfortable clothing and shoes for indoor activities

  • light jacket or sweater for cooler spaces

  • backpack to carry personal items

  • hat and sunglasses

  • sunscreen (reef-safe and environmentally friendly, as required by law in Hawai‘i)

  • writing tools, a journal, or a device for note-taking

  • reusable water bottle: water fountains are available onsite

Drinks will not be provided throughout the conference, so please be sure to

bring your own reusable water bottle.

  • reusable coffee cup (for adult attendees)

For pool/beach activities:

  • bathing suit

    1. towel (optional if your hotel provides)

    2. bag to transport - for wet clothes & towel (optional)

For rain or cooler weather:

A classroom at Le Jardin Academy will be designated for secure luggage storage on Sunday, February 16, 2025. If you are checking out of the hotel and need to depart for your travel plans directly from the conference, please bring your luggage with you on Sunday (2/16) to Le Jardin Academy.
